Bachelor in Business Management: a 3-year program to shape your future

At Pigier, this program is designed step by step: a first year in full-time study to build foundations and clarify your career goals, followed by a second and third year in work-study to gain professional experience, develop autonomy, and take on more responsibility.

Why choose a Bachelor in Business Management?

Choosing a Bachelor in Business Management means opting for a progressive, career-focused program designed to boost employability. You don’t just learn theory — you build your career path, develop organizational skills, teamwork, communication, and a global understanding of how businesses operate.

This program is ideal for students who want to:

  • build strong foundations in management and business;
  • explore different business functions before specializing;
  • develop skills progressively over time;
  • combine academic learning with projects, internships, and work-study;
  • earn a recognized Bachelor’s degree (EQF Level 6 / Bachelor’s level).

A 3-year journey to grow step by step

Year 1: discover business fundamentals

The first year focuses on building a strong foundation. It is delivered as a full-time program, with 4 days of classes per week and 40 days of internship. This stage helps students understand the professional world, develop core skills, and start shaping their career goals.

During this year, students develop skills in:

  • management fundamentals
  • business and communication basics
  • essential soft skills for the workplace
  • oral and written communication
  • understanding business roles and functions

Key learning experiences such as Coaching Days and group projects based on real business challenges enhance this first immersion.

Year 2: strengthen skills through work-study

From the second year, the program becomes more practical through a work-study format, with 3 to 4 days in a company and 1 to 2 days at school, under an apprenticeship or professional contract.

This year focuses on developing responsibilities in areas such as:

  • work organization
  • time management
  • team management
  • professional communication
  • marketing and customer relations
  • introduction to CSR and labor law

Students also take part in professional simulations such as Business Games and can earn certifications like Le Robert and TOEIC.

Year 3: specialize and build expertise

The third year is a key step where students move from a generalist profile to a more specialized one. While continuing in work-study, they choose a career specialization based on their goals. Available specializations at Pigier include:

  • Business & Sales
  • Communication
  • Management & Finance
  • Real Estate
  • Human Resources
  • Logistics & Transport

This final year allows students to deepen their expertise, understand strategic business challenges, and prepare for positions with responsibility.

What qualification will you earn?

At the end of the program, students obtain a recognized qualification. After the second year, students work toward the certification “Manager of a Small or Medium-Sized Organization” (RNCP No. 38575). At the end of the third year, they earn a Level 6 qualification (Bachelor’s degree equivalent) in their chosen specialization.

A progressive and career-oriented program

The Bachelor in Business Management combines academic learning with real-world experience. Throughout the program, students develop highly valued skills such as project management, adaptability, professional communication, teamwork, decision-making, and a global understanding of business challenges.

This progressive structure helps secure students’ career paths: the first year confirms their direction, while the following years strengthen employability through work-study and specialization.
